Information we collect
- Account information such as your name, email address and sign-in records.
- Purchase information such as billing name and state, optional GSTIN, order details, payment references, status and refund records. A payment provider may request contact information needed for the transaction.
- Learning information such as enrolments, content access, progress, paper attempts, submissions, results and certificates, where those features are used.
- Information you provide when contacting support, and technical records such as IP addresses, browser details, request logs and security events.
How we use information
We use this information to authenticate accounts, process orders, provide purchased access, record learning activity, verify certificates, handle support and complaints, prevent misuse and comply with applicable obligations. We send transactional communications such as sign-in codes and service or order updates. We do not sell your personal information.
Payments and service providers
Payment details are entered into the payment provider’s checkout. Zertiqat receives transaction references and payment status; we do not store full card numbers, card security codes or UPI PINs. The payment provider and your bank process payment data under their own privacy notices.
Authorised staff and service providers receive the information needed for their work. These include hosting and storage providers, transactional email services, payment providers and the IJS CRM used by our team to administer customers, orders and access. Our application infrastructure uses Amazon Web Services. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or needed to investigate fraud or protect legal rights.
Cookies and certificate verification
We use necessary cookies and similar session mechanisms to keep you signed in, maintain your cart and protect requests. Blocking these can prevent sign-in or checkout from working. A payment provider may use its own cookies in checkout.
If a certificate is issued, someone who has its serial number can use our public verification page to see the holder’s name, course, issue date and certificate status. Share your certificate serial only when you intend someone to verify it.
Retention and security
We retain information while needed to provide your account and purchases, maintain certificate records, resolve disputes, prevent misuse and meet applicable recordkeeping requirements. Financial or legal records may need to be retained after an account is closed. We use access controls and security safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your requests and concerns
Contact us to request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information, or to raise a privacy complaint. We may verify your identity before acting. We will explain any information we must retain or any effect a request has on continuing to provide your account, purchased access or certificate verification.
Parents or guardians can contact us about information supplied by a child. We will review requests and take appropriate action. Material changes to this policy will be published on this page with an updated date.
